The 2016 Professional Hiring Index from Robert Half has illustrated that nearly two thirds of financial services are predicted in an increase in new roles. Around 58 per cent of financial executives are anticipating an increase in job creation in the first half of 2016, within their sectors.

With most roles targeted to permanent staff, 99 per cent of executive’s state that it’s challenging to find candidates with the sufficient skill sets and experience, meaning there are chances for contractors to offer their services in order to fill this knowledge gap.

Phil Sheridan, Senior Managing Director, Robert Half UKsaid : “The index highlights that senior executives are confident about their growth plans for 2016 and are actively seeking skilled professionals to add to their headcount. This will not only drive up salaries but will also impact on the ever growing war for talent”.
